Oisans Col Series – Col du Sabot

For the 12th year running, Oisans Col Series is reserving the Col du Sabot route for cyclists! With no fixed start time, cyclists will be able to get together to ride this beautiful road without a muffler!

Starting from the Lac du Verney (at the foot of the climb to Vaujany), riders can pedal as they wish, from 9am to 12pm, up to the Col du Sabot (end of the road). At the summit, a breathtaking view of the Lac de Grand Maison and the Vallée de l’Eau d’Olle awaits you. Refreshments at the summit courtesy of Vaujany Tourist Office and Oisans Tourisme.

Oisans Col Series – Every Tuesday in summer – Roads closed to motor vehicles
Every Tuesday morning, cyclists can climb the following car-free passes and roads: Col de la Croix de Fer et du Glandon, Col du Solude, Col d’Ornon, Col de Sarenne, Col du Sabot, ascent to Alpe d’Huez, ascent to Villard Reculas, ascent to Oz en Oisans and ascent to Les Deux Alpes.

This is a free, non-timed gathering of cyclists, with no registration and no fixed start time. The organizer may be forced to cancel a date in the event of bad weather.

Col du Solude: Tuesday, July 8, 2025 from 9am to 11am.
